Tourism Icon Otunba Olawanle Akinboboye Hosts Diplomats At La Campagne Tropicana Forest, River And Beach Resort, Lagos


It was another evening of great entertainment, good company, good banters, good food, choice drinks, happiness, laughter, joy and networking as Tourism Icon, Otunba Olawanle Akinboboye, Founder, IPADA INITIATIVES, IPADA INITIATIVE CELEBRATIONS, La Campagne Tropicana Forest, River And Beach Resort, hosted top diplomats to celebrate the good life God has endowed them with, at the 65 acres beach resort as part of activities leading to IPADA INITIATIVES CELEBRATIONS 2025 which will kick off on November 28th to December 7th 2025.

Amongst them in no particular order was Ambassador Bolaji Akinremi, a Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Secretary General of the African Union Sixth Region Global, H.E Dr. Macaulay O. Kalu, African Tourism Board Global Ambassador, Amb. Peace Nwankaego Onuiri and a senior official of the government of Abia State, Chibuzor Onyema, amongst others.

The cool weather of the evening was waved away as Atunda band mesmerized the guests with good music, from one genre of music to another, showcasing different talents and stars, Omidan Bata, TAA’SHA and the thunderous ARA Thunder to the great enjoyment of the guests.

Everyone danced because it was almost definitely a sin not to appreciate, enjoy such good music and lovely evening under the trees, at the swimming pool venue of the evening show along Anago luxury homes at the resort.

It was not a night of speeches, but having enjoyed so much this particular evening, everyone suddenly just felt like expressing their appreciation of the Founder of the beach resort and Founder of IPADA INITIATIVES CELEBRATIONS, Otunba Olawanle Akinboboye for such a well hosted evening.

In his short thank you message, the Secretary General of African Union Sixth Region Global, H.E Dr. Macaulay O. Kalu, thanked Otunba Olawanle Akinboboye. In his words, "It is indeed an honour for me to be so hosted. When I was in Canada, I tried to visualize all what we talked about, but it is after this night, that I can now clearly understand what it is all about. What iv seen here today gladdens my heart. He pledged to join hands with Otunba Olawanle Akinboboye in his mission and desire to furthermore impact the African Continent.

An impression which African Tourism Board Global Ambassador, Amb. Peace Nwankaego Onuiri also made and noted. On her part, she said she has been wowed by the individual performances and the collective performance of Atunda Band, Atunda Entertainment and Atunda models with their originality in redefining the African style of modeling as distinctly presented by Atunda Models. Amb. Peace Nwankaego Onuiri went further to promise Atunda Entertainment, that she will open more doors of engagement for them, "because this beauty of African talents that I have just seen, must be showcased to the world," she said.

Ambassador Bolaji Akinremi who spoke last expressed his profound gratitude to his friend of many years Otunba Olawanle Akinboboye. He went down memory lane recalling the tourism icons' tourism exploits even in as far away as in Antigua in the Carribbean. On Atunda Entertainment, Atunda Band and Atunda Models, he had this to say: "I want to say, you are all fantastic, you have all added a unique form to your art and craft, a unique touch. ARA THUNDER is awesome, I see you all going to places in near future."

The evening fun and merriment also had a guest performance by Nelson Rex. A guest who did a solo rendition of a song that furthermore added colour to the beautiful evening, making the night, one memory, that will never be forgotten by everyone that was privileged to witness it all.
