The Governor of Taraba State, Dr Agbu Kefas, along with some members of his cabinet, including the Commissioner of Heritage and Eco-Tourism, Hon. Joseph Titus Nagombe, and other people of the state, were recently part of the major excitement at the official kick off of work at the project sites of the new La Campagne Tropicana Hills Resort in Taraba state few days ago.
Founder of La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort, Tourism icon, Otunba Olawanle Akinboboye who was in Jalingo, Taraba State capital, for this historical, epoch making event, spoke admirably of the power and drive that private-public project commitments could achieve for developmental growth.
The roll out of the First machines at the site, turned out a huge landmark for the future of developmental tourism for Taraba state, a huge state ambition that commenced some months ago.
It will be recalled that, the Taraba state government is on a grand ambitious programme, to revolutionise the face of history, tradition, culture, heritage and tourism development of the state, to impact not just the state, but the entire northern part of Nigeria.
The programme which is said to be in phases, has thus already taken off with the necessary speed that will ensure good results in due course.
