Pastor Umo Eno Lauds Gov. Emmanuel for Peace, Security in A'Ibom

... Harps on Sustainability as Fathers in Faith Hold Mega prayer Rally

As the Governor Udom Emmanuel-led administration continues to execute its completion agenda,
governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno has commended the governor for the peace and security enjoyed for the past seven years.

Pastor Eno gave the commendation in his goodwill message during a one-day mega prayer rally, organized by Fathers in Faith for Good Governance with the theme, ‘Oh God, Behold our Land’, at Ibom Hall grounds, Uyo.

He recalled with dismay, some unfortunate security incidences in the state which according to him have become history because of the sterling leadership of Governor Emmanuel.

Alluding to the scriptures in Luke 10:6, he said the peace and security enjoyed in the state is basically because a child of peace is on the saddle of governance, adding that peace abounds where there is a child of peace.

Pastor Eno who also commended the Fathers in Faith For Good Governance for organising the prayer rally and for recognising him as one of them, urged the Akwa Ibom people not to take the peace currently enjoyed for granted as the choice of a wrong leader in 2023 could alter the narrative.

According to him, "There is a need to sustain the peace that we are enjoying in the state. We must cherish the peace God has given us. In the last seven years under Governor Udom, we have enjoyed peace. Let's not take this peace for granted or assume that it is so every where. I came here today to say, let us cherish this peace, because through peace, more jobs will be created for our children. Through peace, we will further the developement strides of the current administration, and that of previous administrations."

The event which attracted religious leaders and followers across the state and beyond, also had in attendance the creme de la creme of the political class within and outside the state.
