AS 'HYMNODIA' FINALS TAKES PLACE TOMORROW, CELEBRITIES BARE THEIR MINDS ON THE BEAUTY OF THE REALITY SHOW

When 'Hymnodia' hit the entertainment scene few weeks ago, many predicted that it will be a great success, but more than that, success for 'HYMNODIA' has come very fast!

Hymnodia, is the first-ever Triple-E (entertainment, education and edification) reality platform created around hymns and worship.

Hymnodia has been designed to refocus the audience and society in celebrating the almost forgotten art and value of hymn-writing and hymn making renditions in diverse forms.

Hymnodia is a wholesome reality-type multi-prong program revolving around members of a world class choir of Nigerians who contest for the status of best hymnodists while collaborating to render soul-lifting renditions as a choir.

Hymnodia aims to spook rumination, regard and allure on the words within our beloved Hymns beyond their oft-whistled melodies. Hymnodia exists to recognize, celebrate and lavishly reward the creativities and talents that excel in its defined categories annually.

Hymnodia has also been an educative enlightening mix of information and trivia on the world’s favourite hymns to empower knowledge driven worship.

Hymnodia closes out on a world-class concert  called the Hymncert. The first ever all hymn concert in Nigeria.
The winner of the ASAPH & Hymnodia season 1 will be announced at the Hymncert.

And the Grand finale comes up tomorrow at the Muson centre in Lagos.

Celebrities who have also been a constant part of Hymnodia, pour their excitements telling us what they feel about Hymnodia!

"I think Hymnodia will fill a gap that has been waiting all these years to be filled because music started from praising God.” - Zack Orji, Actor

“Hymns form the bedrock of our worship. I am very proud to be associated with this innovative and impactful intiative” Gbenga Adeyinka, Comedian and Entrepreneur.

“This little light of ours called Hymnodia will keep shining irrespective of tribe and creed. We will light up the world.” - Ben Ogbeiwi, Dean of the Hymnstitute.

“I am looking forward to Hymnodia, I think the nostalgia and the theme that it will engender amongst people will be awesome. I can’t wait to see it.” - Richard Mofe-Damijo, Actor

“We have come to hear of Hymnodia and its something encouraging and we are interested in it. From how the name sounds, the first thing that comes to mind is hymn and when you hear hymns, what you think of is music. Our perception of Hymnodia is good soul lifting music.”  - Angela Izegbu, Muson Centre Lagos.

"Hymnodia is a DIVINE mandate from PHILOSOVILLE to bring back the true arts of worshipping God in truth and spirit. I thank Mr kufre Ekanem for doing us proud with this program as a CMC Gladiator of repute and patron. Kudos to Ezinne Ekanem and all who one way or the other make this a great reality. God bless the judges and the media partners who have made it loud to the world." Amb Cornel Udofia, CMC Gladiators.

“Hymns touch the heart and the way it’s been going on at Hymnodia is been really soul moving and melodious.” Ogbonna Kanno, CEO, Troika School Lekki, Lagos

“It’s a refreshing concept, different from what we have in the market.” - Ayeni Adekunle, CEO Black House Media

“Hymnodia is a different thing and of course it evokes something in you. For me as a Christian who has a bit of background in music, whose first published book was about classical music, this speaks directly to me. But of course it’s beyond singing and hymns, it’s a culture and it’s the sort of thing we need to encourage a lot more.” Steve Ayorinde - Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Lagos state

“The hymn culture has almost gone extinct in this generation so to have a programme like this that is teaching the art of hymn writing and singing is a wonderful idea. Now, we can expect more hymns written by young people coming up from Nigeria. Fantastic.” - Onyeka Onwenu, Singer and Actor

“Hymnodia as I have come to know it is a great vision which I believe every Christian should support because it’s an avenue to continue to make the art of worship richer and more vibrant.” - Very Rev. Opeyemi Awe, Presbyter, Methodist Church and Interim General Secretary, African Methodist Council

“I see Hymnodia as a kingdom mandate, a gospel revolution because it is bridging a gap between the orthodox and the contemporary.  Hymnodia  is shapening us back to the original concept of worship, devotion and thanks giving.” Pastor Ruby Maduemezia (RCCG City of David, Abuja)

“After seeing the Hymnstitute, now I know that HYMNODIA is something that its time has come. “ Adesuwa Onyenokwe (TV Personality and magazine publisher)

“I think that hymns are basically the word of God from the Bible itself. Hymnals find their inspiration directly from the word of God” Pastor Dapo Banjo (IT Consultant, Wazobia TV)

“Hymns lift us into Gods presence. Hymns are not diluted worship.  Hymnodia captures completely the essence of trying to connect with God.” Pastor Segun Martins (Civil Engineer/Project Manager, Youth Pastor, Solid Rock Church of RCCG)

“My perception of Hymnodia is that it’s a mind blowing concept and it’s a very great idea because we’ve really never had anything of this sort that is faith based and hymn based.” Mrs. Godrey Ogbeche (Group Executive Director, Rainoil Limited)

“Hymnodia is one thing that is a good innovation which will bring back hymn writing and help the value of worship.”  Rev. Adedotun Adeshina (Diocese of Lagos Mainland, Anglican Communion)
